About Me

ABOUT ME...
LAUREN ZEIGLER

Hi, I’m Lauren.

I’m a firefighter’s wife, a homeschooling mother to nine children (+ two in heaven), and the keeper of a very full, very lived-in home. I’ve been homeschooling for over fourteen years, have walked through many seasons of motherhood...from babies to teenagers, from joy to grief...and I’ve learned that a peaceful home isn’t built by doing more, but by living with intention.

I don’t believe in “doing it all.”

I believe in building rhythms that carry a home through real life...long work hours, newborn nights, big emotions, ordinary days, and seasons of change.

Our family life has included small homes and big ones, quiet seasons and overwhelming ones, years of my husband having long work hours, many pregnancies, breastfeeding, babies, and raising children across multiple ages at once.  What has remained steady is the way I approach our days: with simplicity, consistency, and a deep desire for our home to feel life-giving...for me and for my children.

I share here as a way to document motherhood as it truly is, and to encourage other women who want a calmer, more grounded way of living...especially in the midst of full homes and busy seasons. You’ll find reflections on motherhood, homeschooling, homemaking, simple living, and the everyday rhythms that shape our family life.

I’m currently creating a course called Mothering with Delight, where I’m gathering the rhythms and systems that have supported our home through many seasons. If you’d like to be the first to know when it launches, you can join the waitlist below.

I’m so glad you’re here.
