When Jude was just about a week old, I took him over to my best friend's house and I helped her take Jude's newborn pictures. It was a dreary November day but we made do with what light we had, used a flash, an an indoor set up with the heat cranked up so high. We were sweating buckets but Jude...he was one happy little boy. He slept through the whole thing and I don't think he woke up one time. Newborns can be so hard to work with for pictures but he was a dream.
Kim and I laugh because he just turned one and she just got these to me. She's had them edited for forever but either she'd forget to give them to me, or I'd forget to get them. So since he just turned one, I thought it would be fitting to post his newborn pictures right before I post his one year pictures.
I love how all of these turned out and am so thankful to have these sweet memories captured forever. He grew up so fast. It's hard to believe now that he was ever that little. I already miss that sweet newborn smell and his little newborn lips. But I'm also so in love with how fun he is now and how amazing it is watching him grow and learn.
