WELCOME TO THE WORLD, JUDE DAVID!

We are so excited to announce the arrival of our third baby boy & fourth child, Mr. Jude David.  He was born October 11th at 1:33am, weighing 8 lbs & 21 1/4 inches long.  

He is perfect in every way.  So sweet & beautiful.  He reminds me a little bit of all three of the other kids in different ways.  He has Liam's lips and chin, Alanna's long face and forehead, and Ruy's nose.  And at the same time, he has such a different look all of his own.  We are all so in love with him already!

Ruy is such a great big brother and is so gentle with him.  He's totally in love with him! I know he's going to be my huge helper with him.  Liam has said the cutest things like "Oh mom look at his cute lips!  They are so wrinkly!"  & "Oh I love his little fingers!"  & "No one else can hold him!  I'm going to hold him forever!"  He is already very possessive over Jude and I'm sure there will be battles between all of them over who's turn it is to hold him.  Alanna is so sweet with him.  She loves to touch his eyes, ears, hair, nose, & mouth.  I have to watch her to make sure she doesn't poke him to hard though.  She gives him sweet kisses and says "Jude!"  although I think she is still a little confused as to what is going on.  When she wants to hold him she says "ugh hold it."  :)  

Jude isn't able to be discharged from the hospital until today so Nathan went home last night to be with the kids and I stayed with Jude.  I'm really ready to go home.  I don't like being at the hospital for three nights but I know sometimes it can't be helped.  

I'm sure things are going to be a little crazy this first week or so adjusting to adding another little person to the mix all while my body is healing, but I'm excited to get home and be with all my kids & hubby in our own house.   

As far as the birth, I'll be posting the birth story as soon as possible I promise!  And of course sharing lots of more pictures of all my sweet kiddos :)
