HALLOWEEN 2015

Last year we weren't able to do Trick-or-Treat because Liam and I had fevers and were throwing up...{not.fun.at.all}!!!  So we were really excited to be able to go this year.  Nathan ended up staying home because he had a sinus infection and could barely keep his eyes open.  We went to my mom's neighborhood this year like we did two years ago because well, she lives in this rich neighborhood where the houses are massive and the people are super generous and give out the best candy!  I'm talking about the huge chocolate candy bars and little baggies filled with lots of different candies!  Also, there are no nasty ugly decorations that scare my kids.  I was so grateful to have my mom there to help with the kids as well.  Alanna ended up wanting to be carried the whole time and since I had Jude in the ergo I couldn't carry her.  I'm not sure why I didn't think to bring our wagon to pull her and Liam in!  That would have been awesome.  Next year I will definitely do that.

Ruy was Anakin this year since he is obsessed with Star Wars.  My sister gave him his cloak and he was so excited about that.  The rest of the costume we found at a consignment store and he already had a light-saber.

Liam was Buzz Lightyear because well that's all he cares about right now :)  He is always flying around the house saying "oh infinity and beyond!"

Alanna wore her tutu from her first birthday and was a beautiful little ballerina.  I couldn't find her headband for the pictures but then found it later when we got to my mom's house.  When I put her tutu on she said "oooo pretty!"  and then started dancing all around in it.  She loves frilly things!  I love it :)  I am planning on buying her some dress up clothes for Christmas.  I think she will love that!

I didn't worry about dressing Jude up since I knew he'd be sleeping in the ergo the whole time.  I was right.  He slept through it all which was for the best.

The kids had a blast!  Alanna figured out really quick what was going on and had no problem reaching into all of the bowls and grabbing some candy.  Liam was amazed at another Buzz Lightyear he saw but this Buzz had wings and he was so devastated that he didn't have wings.  He talked about it the whole night and is actually still telling me today that he needs wings!  Ruy was loving all the candy people were giving out and wasn't ready to be done when I called it a night.

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween as well!  Now I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving and all the delicious foods I will be enjoying!
