MY MENU PLAN

This week has been so busy.  I just got my menu for the week typed up today.  Normally I have it all done on Thursday or Friday and go grocery shopping Saturday.  But things were a little busy and I didn't get to menu planning until today.  I'm trying so hard to get back on track totally with Trim Healthy Mama.

Before I got pregnant I was at goal weight (between 110-112 pounds) and stayed on plan pretty much all of the time except for a few cheats when I ate out at Chick-fil-a.  Once I got pregnant I started eating a lot of crossovers and then eventually it went to a lot more cheats than I needed.  I gained 40 pounds but was my thinnest this pregnancy than all my others.  I've already lost 20 pounds in just three weeks since having Jude which is awesome.  I still have 20 to lose but I haven't been super worried about it because I don't want to lose my milk supply.  I would however like to get fully back on plan so that I'm not eating the sugar and carbs that are so not good for me and make me feel gross.

I went almost a whole day the other day totally on plan and had such a raging headache that I had to eat some chocolate chips (off-plan) just to help with the sugar cravings.  I hate that.  I hate craving sugar.  I tried several new recipes from the new THM cookbook this past week though that were amazing and a big hit with everyone in the family!  I was super excited about that.  We all loved the Giant Blueberry Pancake and the Bust a Myth Banana Bread.  I made mine a crossover and put all natural peanut butter on it and it was delicious.  I will probably try to make it again this week.

I'm really hoping to have a great week this week as far as staying on plan.  I'm going to try to drink a lot of GGMS to up my water intake.  I've felt so dehydrated lately...especially since I'm nursing.  I feel like little man is taking up so much of my calories and fluid.  I'm thirsty and hungry so much of the day.  Oh and at night time I am especially thirsty.  Any other nursing mamas get super thirsty at night???

Anyways...enough of my late night ramblings :)  Here are a few pictures from our week this past week & then our menu plan for this week.

Have an awesome Monday!  Pray for me...I'm planning on diving back into home-schooling tomorrow since we've been off for the past three weeks. I really want the day to be successful :)
