Yesterday we spent the day at home. Liam had a fever all day yesterday and Jude and Alanna were trying to get over a cold. Liam spent most of the day laying on the couch and I may have let him watch two movies...what else does a kid with a fever of 103.6 want to do but watch Toy Story and Wild Kratts??? Alanna played in her room a lot yesterday enjoying her new doll house we got her for her birthday.
We did school then played outside for a little bit.
While I pushed Alanna and Liam on the swings, Ruy was running around the yard chasing off bad guys with one arm in his shirt acting like he was Anakin! Cutest little boy. I love him to pieces. Star Wars and Camouflage...his two favorite things.
Jude Man is 5 weeks now and looks so big in this picture. He was really enjoying being outside.
Then Alanna needed a nap and Liam needed to rest since he was feeling bad. Liam fell asleep on the couch while watching Wild Kratts and Alanna and Jude were both sleeping in their beds!
So all three of my littlest ones were sleeping at.the.same.time! Life goals people!!! Life Goals! I felt so bad for Liam though. He fell asleep sitting up and felt so awful. While they slept I worked on some cleaning and some blogging and drank some much needed coffee in my new favorite cup! Everything tastes better in a cute cup :)
I snuggled this little man in the Ergo most of the evening while Alanna played play-doh
I went to bed hoping that everyone would wake up feeling better. Ruy woke up in the middle of the night with a fever and I woke up with what I thought could be mastitis. I was so sore and felt extremely feverish. I had three blankets on and made Nathan wrap all around me but still couldn't get warm. I couldn't fall asleep being that cold and ended up getting about 4.5 hours of sleep. Both the boys woke up without a fever and they have stayed fever free so far today even though Liam still has a cold and Ruy is feeling sore. Alanna and Jude woke up without a runny nose and goopey eyes which was a huge blessing. I'm still very sore. I'm having Jude nurse a lot on that side even though it hurts like crazy but hoping he will help unclog it. Today has been one of those days where I feel like I didn't get much of anything accomplished but sometimes that's just how life goes I guess.
I appreciate all my friends who were praying for us today. It means so much!
Here's hoping tonight I get some good sleep (as good as can be with a newborn) and that everyone is feeling totally better in the morning!
